The Detroit Metro Times has reported on Representative Yousef Rabhi’s exciting new bill to finally bring a moral and sensible healthcare system to our state. Here’s some of the report:
“The MiCare plan unveiled today by Rep. Yousef Rabhi (D-Ann Arbor) would provide state residents with comprehensive care, including dental, mental health, and prescription drug coverage while eliminating health care premiums, co-pays, and deductibles.”
Our campaign emphatically support Rep. Rabhi’s legislation; it is a breath of fresh air in a political climate that treats healthcare as a privilege, not a right. No one should be punished for slipping and falling, and this bill is a huge step in the right direction. It also will introduce $40 billion dollars in savings for our state, money we can invest in repairing our roads and educating our children.
Check out this exciting opportunity to bring Michigan into the 21st century. We’re excited to support this legislation in Lansing next year.
